Sustainability Certificate
The Sustainability Certificate at HTW Berlin enables students to develop individual skills in the context of sustainable development. By means of the certificate, students demonstrate their commitment beyond the actual Bachelor's or Master's degree program as a voluntary additional achievement.

Who is the certificate intended for?
The sustainability certificate is aimed at all students at HTW Berlin.
What do I get out of it?
The certificate offers an additional qualification in the field of sustainable development. All individual activities in the area of sustainability are listed on a sustainability certificate.
How do I receive the certificate?
In order to obtain the certificate, students should attend the Intro (the introductory event) and complete two of three possible components. Modules that have already been completed can often be credited.

Structure of the Certificate
The sustainability certificate is comprised of three components.
- All participants in the Certificate in Sustainability should take part in an Intro (the introductory event).
- In addition to the introductory course, two further modules from components I, II and III should be completed.
The order in which participants complete the intro and the components is up to the participants and can be chosen individually.
Contents of the Certificate
I Successful completion of a module from the applicant’s own degree programme. | |

How to get the Certificate
- Register via email
- Complete the introductory module and two further components
- You are welcome to use this form as proof of the required participation.
- The certificate is awarded by the Vice President for Studies, Teaching and International Affairs.
