Track #3 (February 2024 – July 2024)
On February 5th 2024, the International Summer School entered its third round. We welcomed our participants to UTS and spent three sunny weeks in Sydney. The second part of the International Summer School Track #3 took place from July 8th–25th 2024 at HTW Berlin. We can now look back at an yet another exciting, instructive Summer School and congratulate the participants for successfully completing their projects.

Projects and partners
Team BMW Motorrad
Using data analysis techniques, one team of students worked with BMW Motorrad to optimize the manufacturing process of pleuels, reduce tool wear, prevent tool failures and decrease the scrap rate. To achieve this, they analyzed and compared historical topography data as well as process results and parameters.
Team InMediasP
The student team for InMediasP dealt with digital twins and developed one for batteries.
Team Siemens Industry Software GmbH
For Siemens Industry Software GmbH, a team of students engaged with model-based definition (MBD) and CAD 3D models in product manufacturing processes. The aim of the project was to provide manufacturing users with access to product manufacturing information (PMI) in order to increase the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Team Vividhata
One team of students developed a prototype for Vividhata that allows for a more respectful and inclusive discourse in social networks, even in the case of absent content moderation.
