For students
Global WiEIT's funding offers are aimed directly at HTW students. We support students in the engineering and computer science in cooperation with our partner universities in Australia (UTS - Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, UTS - Women in Engineering and IT, Swinburne University of Technology).
Central funding elements are
- Exchange, full funding of scholarships abroad at our partner universities
- Participation in the International Summer School, a series of events lasting several weeks with students from HTW, Swinburne University of Technology and University of Technology Sydney hosted in Berlin and Sydney or Melbourne
International Summer School
The International Summer School is the central exchange project of HTW Berlin, Swinburne University of Technology and the University of Technology Sydney. The Summer School takes place as an annual, cooperative 3-week series of events in Berlin and Sydney or Melbourne. Through the summer school, Global Women in Engineering and IT enables motivated students, especially women*, from the 4th and 5th semester of their bachelor's degree as well as students enrolled in masters programs to work in international teams on practice-oriented projects in cooperation with partners from business and industry.

Exchange
Global WiEIT enables HTW Berlin students to spend a semester abroad at the University of Technology Sydney or Swinburne University of Technology. There is also the option of cooperative supervision of theses and cooperative doctoral studies. This is combined with a guest stay for students and supervising professors at the partner university.
